Acceptance of terms

Plain English Summary

Using Vismayum means you agree to these terms. If you're signing up on behalf of a studio or company, you're confirming you have the authority to do so.

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Vismayum platform, operated by Vismayum Technologies Private Limited (“Vismayum”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you are using Vismayum on behalf of a business entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

The service

Vismayum is a project management platform built for Indian interior designers. It includes tools for BOQ creation and version control, change order tracking, vendor purchase orders, GST invoice generation, payment ledger management, and site update logging.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time with reasonable notice. We will not make changes that significantly reduce core functionality without giving you at least 30 days' notice and a prorated refund if applicable.

Your account

→You must provide accurate information when creating your account
→You are responsible for maintaining the security of your password and for all activity under your account
→You must notify us immediately at hello@vismayum.com if you suspect unauthorised access
→One person or legal entity may not maintain more than one free account
→You must be at least 18 years old to use Vismayum

Acceptable use

Vismayum is built for legitimate interior design project management. You agree not to:

→Use the service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of Indian law
→Generate fraudulent GST invoices or financial documents
→Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the platform or another user's account
→Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to extract data from the platform
→Resell, sublicense, or transfer your account to another party without our written consent
→Upload malicious code, viruses, or files that could harm the platform or other users

Violation of acceptable use

Violation of acceptable use policies may result in immediate account suspension without refund, and we may report fraudulent activity to relevant authorities including the GST Council or Income Tax Department where required by law.

Payment & billing

Subscription billing

Vismayum subscriptions are billed monthly or annually in advance. All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) and inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Payments are processed by Razorpay and subject to their terms.

Founding member pricing

Founding members who lock in the ₹1,499/month price during the early access period will retain that price for the lifetime of their subscription, provided the subscription remains active and in good standing. If a founding member cancels and later resubscribes, standard pricing will apply.

Annual plans

Annual plans are billed upfront and receive 2 months free (equivalent to ~17% discount). Annual plans are non-refundable after 14 days except where required by law.

Failed payments

If a payment fails, we will retry up to 3 times over 7 days. If payment is not resolved, your account will be downgraded to read-only mode - you can still view your data but cannot create new records. After 30 days in read-only mode, your account may be suspended.

Free trial

14-day free trial

No credit card required to start. Your trial begins on the day you activate your account. At the end of 14 days, your account automatically moves to a free read-only view of your data until you choose a paid plan. We will email you 3 days before the trial ends.

One free trial per person or entity. Creating multiple accounts to extend a trial period is a violation of these Terms.

Your data

You own your data. Everything you create in Vismayum - BOQs, change orders, invoices, vendor records, site photos - belongs to you. We do not claim any rights over your project data.

You can export your data in standard formats at any time from your account settings. We will provide your data in a machine-readable format within 7 business days of a written request.

Upon account deletion, your data is purged from our primary systems within 30 days and from backups within 60 days, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Intellectual property

Vismayum, including its design, codebase, brand assets, and all software, is the intellectual property of Vismayum Technologies Private Limited and is protected under Indian copyright and trademark law.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Vismayum platform without written permission. You may take screenshots for internal business use or for support purposes.

Liability & disclaimers

Vismayum is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any specific features will be available at any given time.

GST calculations, TDS computations, and SAC code suggestions provided by Vismayum are for convenience only. You are responsible for verifying the accuracy of all tax filings with your chartered accountant. Vismayum is not liable for any tax penalties arising from reliance on the platform's calculations without independent verification.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, Vismayum's total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

Termination

You can cancel anytime

Cancel your subscription from your account settings at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period - you retain full access until then. We do not charge cancellation fees.

We may terminate accounts

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or fail to pay for an extended period. We will give you notice and a reasonable opportunity to remedy the situation except in cases of severe violations.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ahmedabad, Gujarat. We will always try to resolve disputes amicably before resorting to legal proceedings.
